Top 4 New Dressers for android phones

How the user interface of your Android smartphone looks depends on the launcher used. When buying an Android smartphone is always a so-called launcher preinstalled. This is an app running in the background, which essentially determines how everything looks, reacts and what you see in the foreground on your Smartphone Display.

The launcher determines how app icons are displayed, how large the distances between the app icons are, how many icons can fit in the dock, how the device interprets swipe gestures, how to search on the device and much more.

The launcher can also control if there is only one home screen or if there is an app drawer, and what kind of application animations will look like. It basically provides the user interface and plays the link between you, your apps and the device's Android operating system.

Which launcher is preinstalled when buying an Android smartphone, depends on the manufacturer.  Everyone uses their own launcher. Others use the Android Launcher3 or (under Android Pie) to Quickstep. The app icons are set around here.

From the bottom, open the app drawer, which lists all existing apps. The bottom app-line is the dock with five permanently installed apps, which can also be accessed by scrolling to the adjacent screens. That's how many launchers work.

Change launcher settings

If you do not like something about your launcher, maybe it's just a shot. This is usually easier than a change. Changing Launcher settings work the same on almost all Android smartphones.

Tap a little longer on an empty space of your background image, then the view shrinks and below something like settings for the home screen, usually with a gear icon. There you may already find the checkmark for the desired option.

Find other launchers

There are many other launchers on the Google Play Store - some for free, some for a fee, some for advertising that can be eliminated for a fee on the app. We briefly look at four well-rated launchers that address very different audiences.

Install Launcher

You can also do this from your desktop PC. In your web browser or app open Google Play Store.
Log in with the Google account you use on your Android device. Click Install on the app.

If you have multiple devices running under the same account, you must choose which device the app or launcher should land on. If the device has just a data connection and enough battery, the launcher will be installed.

Once done, open Settings / Apps & Notifications on your smartphone. Sometimes you have to expand yet Advanced. Now go to standard apps. There would have to be at Start-App or similar, which launcher is active.

If not, tap Start App. Select the new launcher, Figure 2. Sometimes the change will take effect immediately, with some launcher (such as the Nova Launcher) you should restart the smartphone.

Now we believe you can easily change it.

We present to you the best surfaces for your android smartphone.

1. NOVA launcher for Android:

It has either a light or dark surface. The icons are round and AppOrdner is also supported. The middle icon at the bottom of the dock bar is the app drawer, which lists all installed apps. Attaching widgets is also no problem.

Nova may be the most popular alternative launcher. If you are not satisfied with the launcher preinstalled by the manufacturer, you will probably first try the Nova Launcher - and not infrequently get stuck with it.

The paid version is Nova Launcher Prime. It offers a few more features in comparison to the free version. These include advanced gesture control, an unread message counter or app folder. First, install the free version. The purchase of paid will then unlock the advanced features.

2. Microsoft Launcher for Windows-based phones

Recently, the end of Windows Phone was heralded. Many of these users may now switch to Android devices. Do you prefer using Microsoft cloud and office services instead of Google products? Exactly for you is the Microsoft Launcher.

Very user-friendly: The Microsoft Launcher discovers at most other previously used launcher and offers to take over the icons of the previous launcher. App folders are also supported: for example, press and hold a game icon, drag it to another, you already have an app folder with two games.

Microsoft Launcher with a widget, an app folder and the Bing search and Microsoft users will soon feel at home with the Microsoft Launcher. You can adjust the design for longer with the Lantern Name of the folder. Swipe to the leftmost screen and land in an information center with Microsoft Apps, Illus.

If you link the Android mobile phone to your Windows 10 PC, you will soon be able to work on the documents you have opened on your PC.

3. Lawnchair Launcher

The Lawnchair Launcher offers flexible icon and size settings comes from Lucerne and is even open source. It offers in size and shapes customizable icons and many other settings. Also, the context menus, which appear on prolonged drowning on an app icon, are supported by this launcher.

The dock can be enlarged to two lines so that more apps have space in it. The one or the other crash of the Launcher app, we had to try out, however, which could also have been due to an action on the phone firewall, Figure 6.

4. AIO Launcher

AIO Launcher has a completely different design concept. A strange, but interesting, the minimalist concept is pursued by AIO Launcher. Instead of icons only buttons and content appear on the home screen - and many of them.

There is only one screen page that scrolls horizontally rather than horizontally. Calendar, email, Twitter, exchange rates: Everything is accessible in the form of directly usable widgets. There is also one to start a timer or voice recordings

Important: A new launcher takes over the background picture if necessary. But he often does not know how many screens you have placed which apps or widgets. Only very few launcher imports the icons from other launchers. You have to re-attach the app icons manually. Below we introduce you to four popular launchers. They are either completely free or already bring enough features in the free version. The four are also aimed at users with very different needs.
